Sarlat panoramic elevator

Take the panoramic elevator to the top
The panoramic elevator in Sarlat is hidden away in the heart of the town's current covered market, in the bell tower of the old Sainte-Marie church dating from 1365 and renovated by architect Jean Nouvel. Located in the medieval part of the town, this glass-enclosed viewpoint offers a breathtaking view of Sarlat-la-Canéda.
Meet behind the church to access it. Take the Sarlat panoramic elevator to the top of the bell tower. You will overlook Sarlat from a height of 35 meters and enjoy a magnificent 360° panorama.
A guide will show you Sarlat's must-see buildings, such as Saint-Sacerdos Cathedral and the Lanterne des Morts chapel.
You can also admire the market square, the charming cobbled streets, and the ochre-colored stone houses with their traditional slate roofs.
A lovely 12-minute tour of the town, perfect for families.
