Tour of the castle
During your visit, discover life-size reconstructions of medieval war machines, as well as an important collection of weapons and armor. Since 1985, Castelnaud Castle has been home to the Museum of Medieval Warfare.
The self-guided tour route is dotted with informative signage, interactive terminals, and models. The evolution of fortification and siege techniques is also illustrated through a slideshow, films, and video games.
You will discover the life of the lords of Castelnaud with the medieval-inspired garden and the furnished keep.
Finally, throughout the year, numerous activities are organized at the castle: armor fitting for children, shooting demonstrations, night shows, and more.
